I really liked the hotel's design and its central location in town. There was a small booking mix-up caused by my travel agent, but the team sorted it out quickly when I arrived and made sure the stay went well. A very lovely hotel, and I'd gladly recommend it. Thanks again.

The room was very clean and check-in went smoothly, but the service needs a lot of work. Communication with some staff was poor, and when I asked to speak to the manager about a few points, I was told the manager was busy. Nobody offered a contact number or suggested I wait until the manager was free. That felt very unprofessional, and I really wish communication were better overall. Check-out was the opposite of check-in, unfriendly and not helpful at all. The location is perfect, which I appreciated.

The location is good, but service was so poor I wouldn't stay again. I had to ask twice every day to have the water in my room refilled, and simple requests were often forgotten. The receptionist said there were no buses to Chamonix and encouraged us to arrange a taxi. After spending hundreds of euros on local taxis, a receptionist at another hotel, soleil d'or, told us about a direct bus that costs €3. I didn't expect this level of disservice. Just stay at soleil d'or, one minute away.

The shower room smelled really bad, but staff insisted all bathrooms smelled like that and wouldn't move us to another room. We stayed one night and moved to the grand hotel soleil early the next morning. They offered parking, a ski room, and a free shuttle to several gondolas. Driving to this hotel's entrance was very difficult, and there's no on-site parking. The nearby garage is narrow and hard to get into. Bringing ski equipment makes things challenging, since there's no shuttle to the lifts and you have to carry your skis on foot to a lift that's not very close. The facilities and cleaning need improvement.
