Lunch was the highlight for us. In the snug dining room, we had a two-course meal and looked out at the town through the big windows. We started with white mulled wine, then had a waffle with sliced almonds, cabbage and fresh herbs, followed by beautifully cooked risotto with two fish fillets and roasted endive. Auberge de Mens is a charming hotel and restaurant right in the middle of this quaint mountain town, with a comfortable stay and the essentials covered.

I haven't stayed overnight, so this is just about the restaurant. We were welcomed warmly and the service was friendly, which made the whole meal enjoyable. The food was a lovely surprise too, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, delicious flavors and original ideas that were really well executed. The presentation was lovely as well. Thanks, we'll definitely come back.

The staff were warm and attentive, and we loved the meal we had on Friday, August 22, 2025. Generous portions, full of flavor, with original dishes inspired by places far and wide and made with local ingredients. We'll definitely be back. Go without hesitation!
