Hôtel Le Dauphin

The relaxed, welcoming atmosphere made a simple stop feel special. We started the day with a really good Italian-style cappuccino, then had two Aperol Spritzes that Stephanie made expertly. She was kind, smiling, and attentive behind the counter. Well done, Hotel Dauphin!

Every member of staff was amazing, especially Sylvia. She’s awesome! The location is great, right across the street from the sea. I’d definitely stay here again.

Getting proposed to in Menton made the trip special, and choosing Hotel Le Dauphin was the best decision we could’ve made. Sylvie at reception was incredibly attentive and accommodating. We can’t thank her enough for her kindness. The hotel is right by the water, with a scenic walk to the beach and town. Consider staying here if you’re visiting the French Riviera.

The breakfast was decent, so I gave it two stars. We had a double room with an ocean view, but only slept there one night before checking out and finding another hotel in a quieter area for the rest of our stay. Believe the noise reviews, I regret that I didn’t. The hotel is right in front of Menton's busiest road, Promenade du soleil, with traffic flowing all day and night. It may be fine if noise doesn’t bother you. It’s an old hotel and the windows aren’t soundproofed, though the bathroom had been renovated.
