You'll feel at home at Villa Gaby in Menton, a wonderful place for a relaxing break. It’s a historic building, now owned by a descendant of the original owners and native residents of Menton. There are large rooms with shutters, a nice bathroom, terraces, a garden, and a pool. You’ll probably end up chatting with the owner. The beach and market are five minutes away, Italy is 15 minutes away, and the mountains are 10 minutes away. There’s also the historic centre, pool, and garden!

We rented the whole villa in Menton and had a wonderful holiday. It’s beautiful, has all the amenities of a five-star property, and includes a pool. The beach is six minutes away. The owner is a wonderful Frenchman with a great personality and his own sailing yacht. I highly recommend it, and suggest booking ahead.

With two kids, there was no way we could stay. The mattresses were soaked in blood, the pans had a thick coating of grease, and two wardrobes were packed with the host’s things, so we’d have been living out of our suitcases. We contacted Airbnb right away and left. As soon as we arrived, there was a musty smell, and the garage was flooded with water from the washing machine.

La Villa Gaby felt tucked away, even though Menton's old town was only three minutes away. My wife and I had a wonderful stay, with a pool and a really comfortable place. Our host was warm and friendly. Highly recommend it.
