Finding the place late at night took a little care. Drive slowly through the village and watch for the small sign. Once there, we found a clean, spacious cabin with everything we needed. Eric was friendly and helpful, and the kids had fun with Gaia the dog, the table tennis and the playground. A really great stay.

The breakfast had loads to choose from, including jam, sweets, cheese and ham. The croissants were excellent, and having several Tassimo machines was a nice surprise after the coffee we'd had at nearby hotels. The little hut itself was lovely, with a big bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, and the outdoor area has small play spaces that are good for families. The pool was nice too, though closing at 9pm felt a bit early for this part of the world. I'd definitely come back if I had the time.

There are 12 separate cabins, each with a kitchen and 4 to 6 beds. It’s a very quiet, peaceful spot. Breakfast in the main building is worth considering too, and all the breakfast food is organic.

It took me a while to decide between 3 and 4 stars. For a hotel, I'd say 3 stars at most, but it's a pretty good place to unwind and has what you need. We had a large, cozy house with two bedrooms, a decent shower, and everything was beautifully clean. The mountains are nearby. We did find a couple of ants in the shower, though it wasn't as bad as it could have been. There was a stove, a TV, 3 beds, and I think a refrigerator, plus a grill to use. On balance, 4 stars feel deserved.
