Hotel Mont Vallon Meribel

The ski lockers were a bit old, though they still worked, and carrying around the heavy key ring was awkward. Electronic keys would be easier. The room was lovely and had a great view. The wellness facilities made good use of the space, and the bar and shared areas were really nice. Great location too, we had a great stay.

The staff were fantastic and always tried to help with anything we asked. The hotel was in good condition and felt worthy of its four stars. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the family suite was. It easily fit four or five people, and it was right next to the slopes and restaurants. We'll definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay and would definitely book again. The hotel is cozy, the food is great, and the staff are lovely. A few small things could be better. The breakfast machine coffee doesn't match the quality of the rest of the food, especially since the proper machines in the bar and brasserie aren't available to guests in the morning. The bottled beer at the bar wasn't very cold, and there was no beer on tap, so we went into town for après ski instead. The spa also felt a bit run down and wasn't very clean, particularly the hammam. I don't mean to sound too critical, we loved the hotel overall, but these details would make a difference.

The location was excellent, but the place felt overpriced for what we got. I've stayed in the 3 valleys many times and had better experiences. Our room was small and dated, and really needed an upgrade for the price. One electrical socket was coming away from the wall. Some staff were very helpful, but the people at the counter always seemed too busy to deal with the problem.
