The apartment didn't match what the listing led us to expect. It was on the fifth floor, so after skiing we still had all those stairs to climb. The included washing machine didn't work, and the bathroom was covered in mold. When I raised it with the agency, they said that was fine for the price. I wouldn't stay in this apartment again or book with that arrogant agency.
There's a lot close by: the ski bus stops right outside, and a few meters up the mountain there are restaurants, a supermarket, and a ski shop with rentals. The Morel ski lift is right by the door, at about 1400m. Inside, the apartment is really well equipped, with an oven, microwave, proper raclette grill and games. It has a big balcony for afternoon sun, a modern bathroom and separate toilet. The bedroom is spacious; the children's room has bunk beds and an extra mattress, and two more people can sleep in the snug living room.
There's a Sherpa five minutes away for small shopping, and the building looks out over the valley. Parking is below, the chairlift is a five-minute walk, and shortcuts get you to the centre in ten. The ski locker is on the ground floor. The downside is there’s no lift for the four floors, so getting back at the end of the day is exhausting.
There's quite a climb with all the stairs, but the apartment is nice. It's handy for both a ski lift and a supermarket/sports shop.
