The green approach and chance to have a barbecue appealed to us, but for what we paid I expected more. We paid for two nights and left after one. It didn't look like the website suggested, and the pitches were packed close together with no privacy. You have to walk through other people's pitches to get to yours, and everyone seems to stare, so it wasn't relaxing at all. The toilets were dirty, had no seats, and had no paper inside the cubicles. The paper was outside in the main room, where the dispensers were mostly empty, and the soap dispensers were empty too. Staff weren't very friendly; I saw one being rude and aggressive to a camper. The site is next to a very noisy road. I also don't understand why we were required to wear a green wristband the whole time.

It's a lovely, peaceful site with a nice atmosphere, and town is close enough to walk to for anything you need. There is some traffic noise from the minor road beside it. The toilets have no seats and no toilet paper, if you can live with that, it's a great place to stay.

We love this campsite and have been four times now. It's family-run and friendly, and everything is clean and well cared for. There are plenty of amenities, especially a very good pool, and the pitches and mobile homes sit among lots of flowers and shrubs. The shop is well stocked, and the bar and snack bar offer a range of food if you order ahead. The setting among beautiful fields is lovely, with picturesque Mers Les Bains and Le Treport nearby, both full of excellent bars and restaurants.

The campground has large pitches and clean facilities, and it's a pleasant place to stay. The EV-4 cycling trail is right there, with plenty of chances to ride or walk to the cliffs. Showers only open after 7:30 am, and reception starts promptly at 9:00. Three cars ahead of me needed the receptionist to open the gate, so leaving early can be risky.

After 40 years of camping around the world, these were three dreadful nights on a family trip through France. Quite possibly the worst campsite in NATO. The facilities were run down, and many long-term pitched tents looked like bundles of rags. The showers were laughable unless you were the only person there, with no water pressure. Toilets were filthy, with excrement and blood on the walls, and I have photos to prove it. More worrying for parents, most cubicle doors had holes drilled right through them. It really felt like someone could be watching you. The pool area was grotty, overseen by a comically camp madame whose main job seemed to be yelling at people who were mostly just swimming. Groups of sullen French teenagers wandered around drinking and smoking dope, some, I'd estimate, as young as 12. One group raced a disabled buggy around the site at 2 am. Hilarious. The shop was a shop in name only, with tired, dusty goods, like the rest of the place, long past their best. A couple of static caravan residents told me the owner was a thief and a bully. One poor woman also said theft was a big problem there. The roads in both directions are poor, so even an evening stroll feels like Mission Impossible. There's nothing to recommend this dire excuse for a site. Avoid it like the plague, or stay and get the plague. Be warned.
