We had a lovely stay in this beautiful Belle Époque villa right by the beach, with breathtaking views. The apartment was roomy and very well equipped, and the owner was attentive. The staircase is narrow and spiral, but our 3-year-old daughter managed it while holding our hand. This charming residence really lives up to its name, and I highly recommend it.

The owner was so kind and went out of her way to help us, which we really appreciated. Our apartment was just right for two, with everything we needed, and it was spotless with a breathtaking view. We settled into the lovely house with blue balconies and found it cozy and perfect for a couple. Highly recommend it.

The toilet drained very poorly. In the kitchen there were hardly any utensils, and it was missing a lid, bread knife, oyster knife, and bowl. One countertop outlet was faulty, and the low-quality mattress protector made a lot of noise. Sheets and towels weren’t provided. I asked for a colander on the evening we arrived, and it came the next day.

I’d never been to Mers-les-Bains before. It’s close to Le Tréport, with beautiful houses along the seafront. The little town sits on the edge of Picardy and Normandy and looks magnificent in good weather. Definitely worth seeing!
