The river and the calm around it make this a lovely place to clear your head. Catherine and François welcomed us so warmly. We stayed in a cozy little two-level nest, with a spotless room and really comfortable bedding. Catherine added lovely touches to an excellent breakfast, too. We had a wonderful time and will be back. Thank you both 😘🌹

The homemade breakfasts are something else. The little houses are cozy, clean, practical, and decorated with real taste, and the whole place has that bucolic charm we keep coming back for. It feels authentic and full of character. We’re always happy here, and I don’t think there’s anywhere else nearby quite like it.

We came away completely charmed, especially by the hostess’s warmth and generosity. There’s a real connection to nature here, and the place seems steeped in all sorts of history. The thoughtful details in the rooms, the setting, and breakfasts made with plenty of homemade products all felt just right. It has that personal bed-and-breakfast feeling that can get lost among Airbnb and Booking.com stays.

The breakfast was enormous, and the owners were kind from the moment we arrived. This is a wonderful spot for anyone who enjoys birdsong, old buildings restored with ingenuity and taste, and lovely gardens. The houses are beautifully restored, with an English garden and a colorful setting that comes with its own Dolby soundtrack, thanks to the birds ;0. Everything was perfect. You won’t regret coming here...
