The welcome was warm, and this is a reasonably priced place to stay in the area, with good facilities including a pool, sauna and bike hire. The forest is lovely for dog walks, and the beach takes about 25 minutes on foot. Nearby restaurants are an easy walk, though they only open at lunchtime and in the evening, and there's no bar on site. The toilet is tiny. Sitting down with the door shut is a challenge, and anyone over 80 kg might struggle. If a quiet break is what you're after, it could suit you.

We had a lot of fun on the bikes we hired, and the paths were lovely. It was also nice meeting other visitors at the pitang tournament. Our cottage was comfortable, with a great outdoor seating area, and the pool was excellent and usually quiet. We had a really relaxing week at nature et ocean and would definitely recommend it.

The Colonial Villa was spacious and had everything we needed. It would work well for two families looking for a large holiday villa. The village is an easy walk from Messanges town and the beach. We loved the atmosphere in the region and the friendly feel of this family village. We had a fabulous week, were sorry to leave, and hope to come back again and again. Thank you, Nature et Océan. The houses and apartments sit nicely among the trees, though they're on the small side. That's fine in good weather since each has its own terrace. We've stayed twice for family holidays: I go surfing while the family enjoys the pool, trampoline, table tennis and playground. Everything is reachable by bike, and there are beautiful cycling paths. A great choice for combining surfing with a holiday with young kids.

A lovely spot to unwind and feel closer to nature. Our house was brilliant and had everything we needed. I was glad to see they don't wrap every towel, sheet and piece of cutlery in plastic bags, as so many campsites do. That practice is common now and utterly ridiculous.
