Beatrice and Regis made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This was our second stay, and we’ll be back again. If you want somewhere that feels like a fairy-tale, this place won’t disappoint.

Authentic, and wonderfully quiet.

We stayed in the Odalisque, a beautiful room with Berber touches. It was thoughtfully furnished and still comfortable, and breakfast with local products was a treat. The pleasant weather meant we could enjoy the garden and pool, too. Clos de la Vigneronne has a dreamlike setting, and the hosts were so kind and helpful. A stay to treasure.

The garden is lovely, and there’s a little wood beside the pool where the owners have made a trail of artworks to find. Children can follow the list the owners provide and turn it into a treasure hunt. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable, and the whole place feels warm and welcoming. The owners are friendly and the service is good. It’s ideally located for visiting the Château de Chambord, and a great choice for a relaxing few days in the area.

We stayed in the separate cottage, which made it easy to cook, and had a wonderful time at Clos de la Vigneronne. Béatrice and Régis were welcoming, the garden is idyllic, and the heated pool was perfect for our long weekend near Paris. We’d happily recommend it.
