A tip for getting in: call the phone number first to enter the building, otherwise you won’t find a way in. Once inside, the renovated apartment is spacious, comfortable, very clean, and has great amenities, including a large kitchen and dependable winter heating. The boulangerie downstairs has tasty croissants, and Restaurant La Popote is a good bet for lunch or dinner.
We needed emergency accommodation because the place we’d booked had no heating. There are shops nearby, and the apartment itself is well equipped, but the entrance hall is uninviting. It’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator. The bathroom outlet was detached from the wall, which felt very dangerous, and the 3rd bedroom has no wardrobe.
The only downside was the stairwell, which the co-owners don’t maintain. The apartment itself is lovely, well decorated and equipped for cooking and computer use, and well located. There’s also a locked garage box in a nearby residence. It worked perfectly for a family stay while exploring this lovely city.
I’d recommend this really lovely apartment. The bedding was just perfect and so comfortable.
It was a pleasant stay, just too short. The apartment had been fully renovated and was extremely well equipped.
