ibis Styles Metz Centre (Ouverture Janvier 2026)

Nice new hotel, but it's a shame the EV charger didn't work.

The hotel had recently been completely renovated, with spacious rooms and a very friendly, helpful front desk. Breakfast was okay, though it could be better. Great location, not far from the train station.

The hotel had a brand new feel and was clean, as you'd expect since it had only recently opened. We booked parking with the room for our family of three; the on-site lot was easy to find and had indoor and outdoor spaces. The location was great for walking to the city centre, with several supermarkets nearby. Room amenities were basic but enough, and the mattress was comfortable. There was no welcome water or kettle, but the lobby dispenser was handy. Some spots in the room hadn't been cleaned, but staff sorted them out quickly. Breakfast had a substantial selection, and I was impressed by how promptly staff topped things up. At check-in, the receptionist advised us when to come down to avoid a group and find it less crowded. My five-year-old son was so into the lobby games that he wanted to keep playing even after checkout.

I travel often for work and have stayed in plenty of hotels, but this place felt comfortable the moment I walked in, which is unusual for me. The welcome was warm, the decor chic, and the atmosphere soothing, with a real sense of attention to detail. The room was a very good size, well designed, and comfortable, so it was easy to feel at ease during the stay.
