I spent a week here while touring Normandy by motorcycle, and had a great stay. My little place was tucked into the garden behind the property, so it was very peaceful. The hosts took good care of me, including with lovely dinners, and breakfast was good too. It felt like rustic rural France at its best. Arromanches is nearby, making it a handy base for the Landing Beaches and the area around them.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the location was great. The room smelled musty, with a cigar smoke odor, and there was dog poop on the path leading to it. We only got one towel, and the website photos are out of date. The bath setup made showering awkward since I had to hold the shower head. Breakfast was mediocre, with a chewy baguette, no fresh croissants, black bananas and overripe kiwi. I wouldn't recommend it for older people.

The cottage had everything we needed, and the hostess was friendly with excellent service. Breakfast was excellent too. The place is cozy, though rather small, and the bed was just okay. There's nowhere to eat indoors except sitting on the bed.
