Le Bezy Boutique B&B

Amy and James, with Sonam and Ben helping out, made our cycling trip incredible. The place has such a charming feel, and the food was fabulous. I feel lucky to have discovered it. Go experience the magic for yourself!

I was nervous at first about being the only guest at the farmhouse as a solo traveler, but by the end I was already saying “see you later” to people and a place that will always mean a lot to me. I visited in September 2022 and started looking forward to returning with friends before I’d even left. Le Bezy is a gorgeous, relaxing space where it’s easy to reconnect with yourself. The food was delicious and clean, which matters to me, and Amy is a fantastic chef. I also had an amazing massage and some of the best sleep I’ve had in ages. The rides were epic. Amy and James took me up my first mountains, and James planned routes that pushed me beyond my comfort zone without losing the fun. I felt accomplished, enjoyed the views, and got in plenty of good chats. I loved every minute of my time in the French countryside, riding, eating, laughing, and talking with Amy and James.

The house had everything I needed for cycling and more, from bikes to rent to help getting my own bike set up and basic adjustments. James even took time after the group ride to help me on my second day, when I couldn’t get the routes downloaded to my computer mount. There are loads of roads to explore, and the coffee and croissant stops were well organized. I also enjoyed passing through Foix. The farmhouse is lovely, well maintained, surrounded by greenery, and decorated with cycling touches. There’s a pool for cooling off after a long ride. Amy’s cooking was spot on, especially the homemade granola with mostly local ingredients. I’d followed their journeys on social media and first met Amy and James years ago at bike races when they lived in Abu Dhabi. It was great to finally visit the dream business they’d built. As a cyclist, I found everything beyond perfect. It’s an ideal base for a cycling holiday and exploring this beautiful part of South Western France, by road or gravel. My first cycling trip in the Pyrenees felt so welcoming and perfect. I’ll be back soon for a longer stay, and I hope it’s the first of many.

We felt at home right away in the incredible house, which was beautifully decorated and cared for, with lovely cycling vibes. Amy and James, thanks for making our first cycling week in the Pyrenees so perfect. James tailored the routes and pace to what we needed every day. The food stops were well organized, and everyone felt in safe hands, with care for those at the back of the peloton. Amy made every three-course dinner from scratch, and her cooking was a solid 10/10. We had the best banoffee pie of our life. We’ll definitely be back soon, the first of many trips!
