Garrigae Manoir de Beauvoir Hotel & Spa

The hotel is close to Poitiers and Futuroscope, which is handy, but it could use some care. We were a family of five with two rooms at opposite ends of the hotel, which was really inconvenient. The front desk didn't seem to make much of that. Service felt impersonal, like we were just numbers and that was all we could expect. Breakfast was okay, though nothing special.

The staff are friendly and helpful, and the menu is excellent. They let us try a couple of recommended wines before we chose what to buy, which was a nice touch. This was my fourth stay, and it's still great value. Looking forward to coming back for number five.

The broken kettle was another hassle, and there was no tea or water in the room. It was also extremely dirty, which is unacceptable, and much smaller than we expected from the description. We left very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service quality. I can't recommend staying here.

The location was great, and the building is really lovely, with a pool, spa and golf course on site. Our room felt a bit tired but was very comfortable. Dinner service was a little iffy, though the staff were great. We laughed about the beers arriving in a batch of two after none had come.
