Résidence Odalys Bleu Canopée

The staff were friendly, and we'd happily stay again. Our apartment was bright, nicely decorated and very pleasant, with a super comfortable double bed, a bathtub and a hairdryer. The residence is new and well maintained, close to the beach, shops and forest. We didn't try the wellness area because it costs extra, and the outdoor pool was closed for the off-season. Eating on the terrace could use more privacy.

Being able to walk to both the sea and town centre was a big plus, and the apartments were clean and nicely decorated. Still, comfort fell short for the price. There was no air conditioning or fan, even during the hottest weather, and the temperature sometimes went above 30°C (86°F), which was hard to manage with a baby. The terrace parasol broke within the first few days and wasn't replaced after we complained, so eating outside in the blazing sun was difficult. Sand and debris also kept collecting at the bottom of the paddling pool, which wasn't cleaned as well as the main pool. The stay was acceptable thanks to the location and cleanliness, but we expected more comfort for what we paid.

The only small downside was the laundry cost, which adds up when you're travelling with children. Otherwise, the accommodation had everything we needed to cook, and sheets and towels were included, which was a real bonus. The staff were attentive and accommodating, even with some unusual requests, and the residence was quiet, clean and near the sea. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back.

We left two days before our stay was due to end, and we won't be back. The road to the beach had a huge sand-filled hole, forcing us to walk sideways along the roadside. Cars had to pass very close to avoid getting stuck, and tow trucks were needed repeatedly during our stay. There was no privacy, too much concrete and weeds, and no air conditioning in this brand new residence in 2025. We slept very badly the whole time. Linen distribution over the two weeks was poorly organized, and an extra towel cost €8. There were only two washing machines for the entire residence. A huge disappointment.
