Village vacances Cévéo de Mimizan-Plage

The place felt tiny, old, ugly, and smelled awful. The furniture was worn, and the small sofa bed was presented as a double bed. The pictures on bookin.com didn't match the apartment I got, and a staff member even confirmed they weren't the same. The smell of chemicals and toilets was so bad that I cried after arriving late and slept in my car because the room felt like a prison. The next morning I asked for a refund for the week I'd booked. Staff were very unfriendly and showed me another dirty Chalet, with a shower behind the bed and pee on the couch. I just wanted my money back and to leave. Since then, they haven't communicated by email or phone, and I can only make complaints by post. I've traveled a lot, worked in hostels, and lived in several countries as a travel journalist. This is the first time I've written something like this, but I'd tell people to stay away if they want a nice holiday.
