Domaine De La Bretesche Cottages

The grounds, pool and golf course are fantastic, and the village is close enough to walk to, with a couple of bars. Our cottage was very basic and didn't look anything like the one shown in the advert. Eating at the golf club was pricey too, at 20 euros for a burger.

The clubhouse has really good food at reasonable, fair prices, and you don't need to be a golfer to eat there. There's a fancier restaurant too, though I didn't try it. The staff are friendly and decent, and there's plenty of parking. In summer, they put on a nice music performance twice a week. Do give them a little applause when they finish a song!

I've stayed here several times over the past few years. It's a peaceful, relaxing place, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the golf course is nice.

Breakfast was great, and the team there were especially lovely. The staff were attentive, the surroundings are nice, and there's a big pool and a golf course. I thought the quality was good for the price. A few things could be better: the villa's interior feels dated, its garden wasn't very well kept, and there's noise from the main road. The lack of a car charging policy also led to some chaos around charging electric cars.
