The food was a real highlight, especially the range of cheeses and the good wine selection. It’s a charming spot, and the lovely people there make the visit enjoyable. Families should know there’s no lift, so you’ll need to carry suitcases up the stairs.
We never stayed at the hotel, but liked dinner at the restaurant enough to come back a few days later. The menu is perhaps a little limited, though that seems to help keep everything fresh and locally produced. The food was very tasty, the service friendly, and the value excellent. A good choice for a simple dinner if you’re nearby. One small issue: very late in the evening, the outdoor tables nearest the entrance were poorly lit.
We stopped in for dinner and had a really nice meal at a reasonable price. The food and service were excellent. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone passing through.
We were staying nearby, and this was the closest place to our cottage, so we came for a meal. Such a lovely atmosphere, from the people to the service. Lia gave us wonderful suggestions, and the whole place was buzzing like a happy little beehive, with everyone trying to make visitors feel welcome. We all left full and incredibly happy. 10/10, I’d come back if I’m ever in the region 🫶🌞
A bit of an odd place. The food was really nice, but the service was awful. The woman serving was clearly overwhelmed, even though she was trying her best. They cleared only half the table, then left the dirty plates that remained there for another half hour.
