Hôtel Le Mélèze

You feel right at home in this small hotel, which has just a few rooms in the center of Moirans-en-Montagne. The owner is very attentive to guests, and breakfast is simple but hearty. I’d gladly come back and highly recommend it.

The hotel is well placed for a stay in the Jura region, with free parking nearby. We had a very warm welcome from the friendly, attentive owners. Our room, bathroom, and bedding were all very clean, and the stay went very well. We recommend it.

The price is very reasonable, and breakfast served at the table is generous. The owner is very pleasant and listens to guests. The building feels old-fashioned, but the rooms have been renovated and are pleasant.

Breakfast was a treat, with really fresh croissants, and you can have it on the terrace, in the breakfast room, or in your room. They can also prepare sandwiches to take along on a day trip, and drinks are available through room service even in the evening. You can dine on site, too. The hotel sits between the pretty little town hall square and a quiet side street, with the Mercantile beach at Lake Vouglans just a few kilometers away. Nights are peaceful. It’s a charming little place with 5 rooms and a warm atmosphere. The owners are pleasant, friendly, and take such good care of their guests that you can tell they’re passionate about it. The rooms are very clean and renovated, each with its own personality and original decor. I really liked ours. I highly recommend this establishment!
