Chez Dan et Véro

The garden around the house is lovely, and Dan made us feel at home straight away. This is a proper bed and breakfast, staying with the owners, so it isn’t perfect: there were a few cobwebs, for instance. But the toilets, bathrooms, linens and beds were spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable, and breakfast had good quality products, good bread, lots of jams, and a choice of sweet or salted butter. Thank you! Upstairs was very hot during the heatwave, and there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, so opening the windows was difficult. The fans saved our night.

Dan was available and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was quiet and spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and breakfast was generous and especially varied. A few small annoyances: we couldn’t get the shutters open in the morning, the shower had no instructions for setting the temperature, and there were too many nightlights to make the room fully dark.

The house is peaceful, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms have everything we needed. We spent two lovely days in this spacious old place, decorated with charm. Dan’s artistic talent adds a lot to it, and our conversations with him about art were really interesting and made the atmosphere even friendlier. After hiking from Figeac to Moissac through the Célé Valley, the rest was very welcome. Dan greeted us warmly, and his generous breakfast came with an impressive range of jams. A beautiful guesthouse I highly recommend.

The hosts welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away. This little secluded house is a real haven of peace, where time seems to stop and you can get away from the everyday rush for a moment of complete calm.
