Le Moulin De Moissac, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

The location is absolutely beautiful, and our room was clean and very spacious. Having private parking was a real plus. Sadly, most of the staff were shockingly unfriendly and seemed unwilling to communicate; nobody spoke even basic English. A few employees came across as almost rude, and we felt very unwelcome. One young man at the bar was the exception: polite, professional, and helpful. The service was far below what we expected. That lack of basic hospitality was nearly unacceptable for us and overshadowed what could have been a great stay.

The location is lovely, but the restaurant needs a lot of work before it can live up to its former reputation. We had booked dinner for four on a June evening, and the heat was oppressive, especially at our table by the bay windows. The other diners didn't look comfortable either. Before we'd even seen the menu, a surly waitress told us the air conditioning was broken and they were short staffed. After that welcome, we decided to cut the evening short. I'd avoid it until things improve.

The clean, roomy hotel is in a beautiful spot, and having private parking was a real convenience. The morning staff were wonderful, friendly, polite, and spoke excellent English. The evenings were a very different experience. Apart from a polite, helpful young man at the bar, the evening staff were very unfriendly. Most didn't speak English, and some seemed rude. I found the attitude and lack of basic hospitality close to unacceptable.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but that was about the only good part. The town looks run down, and the area around the hotel was dirty and neglected. The building's exterior seemed not to have been maintained for years, while inside there were deep scratches on the doors, walls, floors, and skirting. The air conditioning wasn't working during our stay. The windows let in a lot of noise, and opening them brought in insects from the nearby river.
