After a day out hiking, relaxing by the pool was such a treat. The room was really spacious, breakfast was delicious, and our host made us feel welcome. The setting is peaceful too. Thank you, Marina (July 2025).

2025: Thank you, thank you, thank you. 2024: We came back again, though the weather was much cooler this time. It feels like we're taking a vacation from our vacation. One tip: travel agency surcharges are outrageously high, so booking directly with the owner gets you a fair price. For a special evening, I highly recommend Restaurant Le Kalo in Montauban/Cazes-Mondenard to guests of this first-class place. You'll remember your evening there. 2023: We love the friendly owners, the beautiful, peaceful setting, and their warm hospitality. 2022: The hosts are very friendly. We were there during the hottest part of the year, but the temperature indoors was bearable. The former farmhouse has been lovingly renovated, and its original integrated architectural features are especially lovely. The room is well equipped, with a wide bed and an excellent mattress that made for a very comfortable night's sleep. The upstairs ceilings are high, which helps the air feel good, and the whole house is exceptionally clean. The owners clearly care about order and cleanliness, something you rarely find these days. My wife and I have seldom seen a toilet and shower this clean in France, even in five-star hotels. A warning: the shower floor is slippery, so you could fall. The drywall partitions are okay. Cars sit in full sun. Addendum: It reached 37°C (99°F) during the day, and the building and rooms warmed up. Around 7 a.m. the next morning, it was noticeably cooler outside than inside. That made us think that in very warm regions each room should have a central air vent, allowing warm rooms and building elements to cool. The air supply is regulated by an electronic comparison of indoor and outdoor temperatures, unless guests have switched it off.

The view from the cottage is magnificent, and its location is ideal. Our room was spacious and charming, with comfort assured, and we got a warm welcome. Having breakfast with our host was a lovely experience. We took her suggestions about where to eat and buy local products, and were glad we did.

For a work stay, the three guest rooms and shared room with a fridge and microwave worked well. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very well equipped, and two have superb terraces. The landscape is lovely and it's quiet, about 10-15 minutes from Moissac.
