We've been coming every year in our campervan for more than 10 years, and it's always welcoming and good value. You can choose a secluded pitch yourself, with lots of trees around, plus red squirrels and birds. The toilets, showers and washing-up spots are clean, though you'll need to bring your own toilet paper. There's often a big group of young people at the surf camp on site. They're friendly and don't cause any trouble. The path to the beach was refurbished this year, which has given the area a new lease of life. The beach itself is gorgeous, but with those huge crashing waves, strong currents and steep shelf, the sea really isn't suitable for children.

It's quiet at night and you can walk to the beach. The pitches are fine and set in a nice natural area. But the sanitary facilities are unbelievably bad: no toilet seats, cold and outdoors, dirty with very little cleaning, and too far from many pitches. We ended up using the emergency toilet in our van instead.

Lovely atmosphere, and the whole place is gorgeous with trees everywhere. Great staff, respectful and friendly. Showers and toilets were clean and good. There's an outdoor gym, padel and basketball courts, plus laundry and drying for 10e. Great camping and a good price, 16e per pitch per night.

The campsite has a great feel and is really nice, but the older man with big glasses at reception was extremely rude and disrespectful. I can't understand how someone that rude is allowed to work in customer service.

There's a pleasant shopping, restaurant and bar area out front. From the campsite, the beach takes 10-20 minutes on foot, depending on where you set off. There are two ways onto the beach, and one goes via a river.
