The location is great, just a 30-second walk from the beach. The rooms are newly designed and nice, breakfast was great, and Evelina, the owner’s sister, was super friendly. I really wish I could rate this place higher, but there were a few problems. One night, a rat jumped down from the ceiling into the bathroom, even though the rooms were otherwise clean. The front desk woman was inhospitable, and I don’t think she should be working at reception or in a hotel. We’d arranged a boat tour through the owner and thought it was all set. The boating company told us the day before that they had no confirmation. When we asked the owner, he rudely said we were supposed to arrange it ourselves, even though he’d said he would take care of it.
