We were shocked to find that this lovely site has no motorhome facilities for emptying toilets or disposing of grey water. When I asked, I was told they were "green." I asked where the environmentally friendly facilities were, and she pointed to an ordinary toilet block. I said that isn't a composting toilet, and she replied that nobody else complains. I wanted the details of the organization that approves campsites in Corsica, since I don't understand how it can be advertised as a campsite without basic facilities. She answered, "remember you are in Corsica!" in a threatening way, then started photographing our van. It felt very intimidating. I said I'd find the contact details myself. We're leaving now feeling threatened.

The owner's kindness really helped us out: they let us arrive during the noon closing time, which spared our little daughter a nap-time meltdown. We stayed two nights, on very pleasant pitches beneath the trees. The grounds were tidy and clean throughout. Many thanks.

We planned to stop for just one night, but ended up staying three days. Of all the campsites on our trip through Corsica, this was easily the neatest and quietest. Everything was clean and tastefully arranged, from the pool and playground to the restaurant and toilets, which even had soap and toilet paper. We were amazed that just two people kept the place in such good order. You’re great, thanks for everything. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Corsica!

The mountains around E Canicce are amazing, and the restaurant food was excellent. We had a great two-night stay and would have stayed longer if we’d had more time. The toilets and showers were new and really clean. Thanks for everything!

Right in the beautiful Asco valley, there are lots of lovely bathing pools nearby. The ride up to Asco village is gentle, and there’s fantastic ice cream on the corner there. Domaine Clos Venturi vineyard near Ponte Leccia has wonderful wines. The campsite itself is lovely, with shaded pitches and clean facilities. We got a very friendly, helpful welcome. There’s a bar on site serving simple meals, and you can order bread too.
