En Rouge et Noir

We felt like we were staying with family, in the best way, and loved spending time with Annie and Francis. We could happily have stayed longer. They even lent us a table and two chairs so we could eat dinner there with local food we’d bought that day. The house was clean, pleasant, well located, and had a pool and parking. Annie and Francis were lovely and kind. Breakfast was a treat: coffee, tea, fresh bread, pancakes, homemade jam, and fruit juice. We arrived in Monbazillac on a whim at the beginning of August and needed somewhere to stay that night. The owner of Le Semillon in Monbazillac gave us the bed and breakfast’s contact details. Luckily, Annie and Francis had a room available that could fit our two children’s travel cots, and the next night was free too, so we extended our stay. They kindly agreed to host us as long as the children had inflatable rings for the pool. Decathlon is nearby, which helped 😊 We’d never been to Annie and Francis’s place before, but what a lovely surprise. The welcome was so warm, and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you for everything. Thibaut, Charlotte, and their children have loved the pool ever since.

We had a lovely time here. The place is quiet and relaxing, and the hosts are very welcoming. Breakfast was homemade, simple, and delicious. I highly recommend it.

We only stayed one night, but the experience exceeded our expectations. The valley view was breathtaking, and the swimming pool and breakfast were both superb. The hosts were genuine, down-to-earth, and very attentive. The price felt justified. Thank you for your hospitality. We’ll be back!

We arrived at 10 p.m. after booking at 9:15 p.m., and were still given a warm welcome. The decor was very neat, everything was impeccably clean, and the view of Montbazillac and the dolphins in the pool was magnificent. Breakfast was plentiful and friendly, and we appreciated sharing it with the other travelers. Thank you both for your welcome and the time spent together.
