We found this place on Airbnb and came away happily surprised. Our tent was huge and had everything we needed, and watching the sunset from the bed was wonderful. The night itself was even better. The pond is only a short walk away, and there are plenty of things to do within 30 km. Or you can simply switch off for a while and let your body and mind rest. The setting is lovely, and the hosts were kind and attentive.
The breakfast was very good. The rooms are furnished with real taste, in a tower that's around 500 years old and has been beautifully renovated.
The continental breakfast was excellent, with quality products, and the owner was wonderful. Our room was in the tower, where there's one room on each floor, and the renovation has been done with great taste. A lovely place. One tip if you're driving from Puy du Fou: ask the owner for directions instead of trusting your GPS.
We stayed in the Hygge room, decorated in a Scandinavian style, and found it wonderfully peaceful. The tower renovation and furnishings are tasteful, and the grounds are just as appealing, with a big park, some animals, paths through the dry moat, and a walk along the pond. It's a lovely option for a family break, a romantic stay, or some time alone. Our hosts were kind, helpful, and discreet, and I'd be very happy to come back. The setting itself is very pleasant.
