Au Moulin 1771 Bed & Breakfast

The hosts were so welcoming, and breakfast was amazing. The rooms are finished to a really high standard, and the property sits in a beautiful setting. We had nothing negative to say. Go and see for yourself, you won't regret it.

Finding Au Moulin turned out to be a lucky change to our usual route. We drive from Ireland to Spain each year, stopping in the Pyrenees and Vendee on the way down and back, but this time we needed a different Pyrenees stop. From arrival, it felt like visiting friends, and we can’t recommend the accommodation enough. The rooms and gites are spotless, elegant, modern, and comfortable, all finished to a very high standard. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, and are lovely people. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the couple who run the lodge were friendly and relaxed. It’s a cosy place in the countryside, with lovely views and a very quiet atmosphere. A good spot for a retreat.

The gardens are lovely, and breakfast was great. The hosts were genial, and the accommodation was excellent. It’s a charming old mill from the 18th century that’s been restored with a lot of care.
