The room was comfortable and very clean, with a lovely window overlooking the village. We only booked one night as a stop on a two-week road trip, but I really wish we'd stayed longer. The views from the edges of the Fortress are incredible, and the location is just right for exploring the region. The owner is a lovely young man who gave excellent service. Dinner was fantastic, fresh and home-cooked, with a diverse menu, and breakfast brought perfect croissants and pain au chocolat. I hadn't read many reviews before booking, which I'm glad about. It seems to me the people who left bad reviews must be American and not understand French service, LOL. We had everything we needed and wouldn't change much. We'd definitely come back and stay longer.

Tasty local food at the restaurant, served with a smile, and the restaurant is worth visiting on its own. We also had great service and enjoyed the atmosphere. The rooms above it were clean and nice. It's beautifully set in the fortress town of Mont Dauphin. We'll be back.

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms felt cozy and clean. The bathroom was rather small, but worked well. My only concern was the breakfast, which had a very limited selection.

It took a very long time to get service, and nobody brought us a menu or explained what was on offer. The staff seemed too busy to get hold of easily. The food was just average. I'd try somewhere else.
