We had a superb Michelin-starred lunch, and all 13 of us loved the food, the setting, and the whole experience. The town is a gem, and the surroundings were incredible. It was reasonably priced too. I wish we’d planned to stay a few days, but that wasn’t in the schedule. Definitely worth visiting.

Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with friendly service. The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable. The location, looking out over the river, was excellent too.

We were lucky to find a table as walk-ins for an impromptu lunch while driving through town. We ate on the enclosed terrace, where the service was impeccable and the food was spectacular, all without any fuss. The meal was delicious, and I was glad we stopped. I’m always struck by how much the French care about food; so many places there could stand on their own as destinations in the UK, and this was one of them.

The bistrot food was exceptional, and the staff were attentive and friendly. It’s an amazing boutique hotel. I’m sure the Michelin-starred restaurant would be amazing too. Highly recommend.
