Gîtes Les 2 Hermines

The bedding was so comfortable that we slept like babies. The cottage is thoughtfully equipped and tastefully decorated, and the owner gave us a warm, friendly welcome. It's well placed for visiting the main attractions. We'd happily return.

We stayed five nights in April with our small dog, and the apartment was comfortable for the four of us. Le Fournil at Gîte des 2 Hermines is a duplex in Mont Dol, opposite a small nursery school that caused no disturbance. The village is pleasant, and it's worth going up into the hills to take it all in. The area around it is quiet but close to everything, making it a great base for exploring. The apartment was clean, almost brand new, nicely decorated, and well maintained, with every modern comfort we could think of. The amenities were great, and the bedding from a major Swedish brand was remarkable. I woke up without that feeling of having been rolled on, or the stiff back you can get from a worn mattress with a dip in it. There is a small, shaded, quiet public parking lot right next door. The owners were friendly and discreet. I'd gladly stay again!

The cottage is spacious, modern, and nicely equipped, with everything needed for a stay and very comfortable bedding. Its location works well for visiting the popular towns and sights nearby. The hosts welcomed us warmly and gave us great suggestions for exploring the area.

The house itself was beautiful, clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The host was really friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The mattresses were very hard, though, and the curtains didn't block out all the light. Wi-Fi was very poor despite being listed as available. The owner said that's because there isn't fiber optic yet, but I'll leave that open. If you need Wi-Fi, make sure it's good or say in the listing that it isn't. There are cheaper houses if Wi-Fi doesn't matter to you.
