I've been coming to this big building with all its apartments since I was little. It's under new ownership now, which is great. The place is clean and the walls have been redone. One thing, though: it'd be nice if the other tenants didn't walk through the hallways in their ski boots, especially for the caretaker's sake.

The old building is a delight to look around, from the entrance hall and staircases to the little lounge with its fireplace. It's right in the city center, opposite the thermal baths. The drawback is the noise: you can hear everything, and people are coming and going from 6 am until 11 pm. With no parking, unloading and loading luggage is also quite difficult.

The scenery around Mont-Dore is beautiful, with lots of places to visit, which makes it a shame that I didn't enjoy the apartment. It was noisy and cramped, the bed was uncomfortable, and there was no parking. Since all the lots were pay-and-display, I had to drive a long way to find somewhere to park. Getting the luggage downstairs was a real hassle. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I rent at Le Sarciron every year and still love it. The place is beautiful, and staying there feels like going back in time. Mont-Dore has some great things to see, including the famous Capucin Funicular and the Grands Thermes spa. You can also enjoy the charming Mont-Dore thermal baths or have adventures at the Mont-Dore ski resort. This place is waiting for you for a special stay.
