UPDATE, 6 okt 2025, after the hotel replied: Thanks for the “standard” response. It still doesn’t feel like a sincere answer to a complaint. Please run the hotel properly, take complaints seriously, talk to the people raising them, and try to fix the problems with the rooms and staff. A reply to a negative review should sound like you mean it. You could contact the guests, or let them get in touch and work out a solution, perhaps even a return stay. I doubt you will. It feels like management only cares about money. My elderly parents tried to complain at reception, but they were ignored. My mother, who is 79, had already posted a review, and I’m writing because the response to hers also dodged the issue. The next morning, the manager behind reception ignored my parents again when they tried to raise their concerns. They were left waiting too long, and no one would talk to them about their complaint. We paid € 100,- for a dysfunctional hotel room. The hotel didn’t take responsibility or give a proper answer, just a response that seemed written to protect its image on Google. My mother’s review is under “Anna Ploegstra.” DONT SLEEP HERE, TAKE ANOTHER HOTEL!! They neglect elderly guests. How can you treat old people this way? If this is your approach, I’ll keep warning people. If you remove this review, I’ll come back and post again.
