The homemade jams at breakfast were a real treat, and there’s a little shop with local wine and other goodies to buy. I was only there for one night while traveling through the region, but Sandrine and Jean made sure I had what I needed. They were patient with my poor French, and Sandrine could help me out in English when I got stuck. I’d gladly have stayed another night or two, and would come back if I get the chance.

The room was lovely, and we enjoyed the food and excellent wine. Sandrine and Jean were so considerate throughout our overnight stay, doing everything they could to make us feel at home. They really felt more like family. We can’t recommend this guest house highly enough.

After we arrived, they had a lovely tea tray ready for us, just one example of how thoughtful they were. Sandrine and Jean gave us such a warm, kind welcome, and we appreciated it so much. The chambre d’hote was beautifully decorated, with care in every detail. We couldn’t recommend L’Orée des Vignes more highly. Just superb!

The pool area was the icing on the cake, and breakfast had plenty of variety. Our hosts, Sandrine and Jean, were always available, attentive, and ready with helpful advice. The rooms were spotless and practical. Thanks again for the hospitality. We hope to come back and stay with you someday :)
