The kids had a great time, especially with the pool and the lake beach right there. We spent a week in the lovely Gorges du Verdon, with clean rooms and friendly staff. It was just before the summer school break, so the place was fairly quiet. You'll need a car for water sports, though that's probably true of the other hotels and clubs around too.

The buffet had lots of flies, and we found dead insects and ants in the rooms. There was no Wi-Fi, and the whole place felt quite disgusting. We only stayed one night because it was the only option in the area, and I'm glad we didn't end up with an illness or insect problem. If all you need is a cheap base for sports, you might be fine here. Anyone expecting a better standard will probably hate it. Definitely not three-star quality, two at best.

We were very happy with the accommodation, and the meals were good with plenty of variety. The club is beautifully set in the heart of the Verdon mountains, and everyone we met across the departments was professional, kind and attentive. Antoine, the sports instructor, made our days special with his workshops: muscle awakening, muscle strengthening, stretching, aquafun and hiking. Many thanks to him. And Maje, or Majedeline, the activities manager, brought so much energy and good humor. She was a ray of sunshine! ☀️ 🤗
