The hosts were a big help with ideas for wonderful restaurants and outings. The gite is lovely, with a pool and a great garden for kids, in a picturesque French village near Versailles and Paris. I'd definitely recommend it.

Pascale and her husband are so welcoming, and they were happy to share advice about the area and the gite's own history. We loved the decor and the story of this beautiful guesthouse, tucked into nature.

The large heated pool was fantastic, and the two sweet dogs at the Fauconnerie du Roy added to the magic. They're friendly, loving, and full of energy. We've stayed twice, once in a bedroom in the main house and once in the guest house with another family. Both visits were wonderful. The hosts are kind, friendly, and fascinating to talk to, and they go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. I'd highly recommend it for a long weekend, summer holiday, or any time at all.

The shower was nice and hot, and everything was clean and tidy. The accommodation and host were lovely, with so much history in the place. There was a beautiful pool too. The host made us feel very welcome and was helpful and friendly. Thank you so much x

We had a wonderful time at La Fauconnerie du Roy. Our kids loved the big garden and playing with the very friendly dogs. Pascal and Olivier looked after us so warmly and made sure we had everything we needed, along with extra local advice on things to do in the region.
