I felt rested, welcomed, and well fed before setting off again on my Euro Velo 3 cycle tour, which passes right by the hotel. For a very reasonable price, I got a spotless room, a comfy bed with space for morning yoga, lovely toiletries, and a clean, recently refurbished shower. My bike was stored safely in a special room inside the hotel. The welcome was friendly and courteous, and I appreciated the receptionist's ability to speak several languages. Breakfast had a simple selection but tasted great: homemade jams and butter in jars, yoghurt, tasty bread, O chocolate, and plenty of good coffee. The broad old stairs are a fair trade for an elevator, in my opinion. I think the Logis rating should be much higher. Hotel Central in Montargis was a surprisingly wonderful find, a five star experience.

The location is wonderful, and although the rooms are small, they're very clean and great value overall. The manager speaks English well and was especially helpful in making room for our touring bicycles.

The roof-top dining area is a lovely feature, and the breakfast bread and croissants were delicious. I also found the staff friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a central location. Great value and a great find.

We stayed overnight before heading to Paris, and the town itself is attractive to explore on foot. There's also a lovely Michelin starred restaurant just 20 mins away by foot. The hotel is beautifully maintained and modestly priced, on a side street with limited car access. They kindly gave us a large, spacious room where we could repack our excess luggage.

The room was clean and good, and breakfast was good too. Parking close to the hotel is convenient, or right in front if you're lucky. The service was very friendly. A few little things, like the tiles, need fixing, but everything else was perfect.
