The calm around the place was one of the best parts, with greenery and a river behind it keeping the nearby highway out of earshot. It’s also a handy base for Montauban, Toulouse, Carcassonne and the medieval villages nearby, which we managed to visit over two days. We’d planned to stay one night, but slept so well that my brothers and I booked a second. The Centre was clean, and everyone we met, including the other guests, was friendly. Sister Jacqueline greeted us with loads of energy and explained how the place works and how it differs from a regular hotel, including the earlier breakfast. For what we paid, that was fine. I’d booked by email and Mr. Blondé, the Director, replied very quickly. I’d gladly stay there again when I’m back in the area, and would encourage others to visit.

While on a bike trip in May 2023, I stayed in this quiet convent that’s been turned into guest accommodation. I knew what it would be like, and the manager and nuns gave us a really warm welcome. They even let me use the refectory for a Zoom meeting, and breakfast was good.

We slept really well. The room had plenty of space, good equipment and excellent bedding, and breakfast was generous. The manager and staff were helpful, welcoming and professional. It was peaceful and quiet, just what we wanted. We’ll come back.
