Ibis Styles Montauban

The restaurant is lovely, and it's great to arrive and have a good meal there. We also really like the breakfast, with pretty much anything you could want. The team are professional and friendly, and the rooms with showers are comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The architecture and interior design are incredible. We've stayed at this Ibis styles Montauban a few times and will definitely return.

There's plenty of parking, and the central courtyard looks like a nice spot for breakfast when the weather improves. For heading north out of Toulouse, the location works well. Whichever direction you're going, staying on the far side of town makes for an easier departure the next morning, since the ring road is truly bonkers.

The food was good at dinner, and breakfast had a generous continental selection. Our room was quiet despite being right by the lift, and it was spotless, with a large comfortable bed and more space than some rooms. The decor and furnishings seemed odd to us at first, but we got used to them. There are pieces like a side table, chair, storage cube, slatted box, and stool that let you set up the room to suit yourself instead of adjusting to a standard corporate layout. We stopped here again after having stayed before the expansion to include the "styles" option. It's very different from a regular ibis, and we got a warm welcome. If you're in the area, you really should stop here.

We've stayed here five times now, just minutes from the motorway. The market-themed decor is lovely and well lit, and there's an adjacent restaurant with interesting cuisine. The staff are very accommodating. We'll be back!
