Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in France, with fresh fruit, cereal, muesli, yogurt, breads, croissants and plenty more. When we arrived, Veronique gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our room in this lovely home. There was secure parking, and the room was spacious, with all the amenities and a huge ensuite.

We only regret not staying longer. Véronique was a wonderful host, and the whole place felt relaxed and enjoyable. The house is old, with high ceilings and a large garden, and it’s decorated in such a sweet, lovely way. Vanille Bourbon is right by the train station, with the old city an easy walk away. If you’re reading this, just book it. You’ll enjoy your stay! :)

A fabulous host, and everything was very, very clean. The style is eclectic.

The service was fabulous. Don’t let the facade put you off.

A pleasant stay, with a homemade breakfast that was original, healthy, and energizing, a nice way to start the day. The place brings together history and modernity, with original decor and practical updated amenities. It’s an intimate spot, only a 5-minute walk from the train station. The hostess makes a lovely first impression with her smile, kindness, and discretion.
