Francoise was such a kind and helpful host, and the breakfasts were just right. This lovely old Provence house sits in the middle of Montauroux, the charming town in the Fayence area. The rooms have high beamed ceilings and beautiful, lovingly done decor. There are three bedrooms, with generous shared spaces that are comfortable and nicely furnished.
Françoise and Michel were amazing hosts. Their family has owned the château since the late 1700's, and it made for a perfect getaway. Everything was immaculately clean, including the pressed linen sheets. Breakfast came with homemade yogurt and jams from their apricots and plums, along with fresh croissants and bread from the local boulangerie. Thank you!
We had a really pleasant stay. The hosts were attentive, the charming rooms were clean and typically Provençal, and breakfast in the garden was peaceful. There are plenty of walks starting right from the village, and we left the car in the grounds for the whole visit. A little haven away from the French Riviera's bustle.
The owners are really friendly, and the house and terrace are lovely. A very good homemade breakfast is a nice extra. A wonderful place to stay. 👍👍
