La Marande

The menu has courses at different prices, and the dishes are fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented, with a strong focus on seafood. The staff are dedicated and really helpful with choosing wine. We booked a table at La Marande while exploring restaurants near us, and the large terrace made us want to come back on a sunny day. We also got to talk with Chef Philippe Michel and his wife Elizabeth and share our impressions. A great place for anyone who enjoys light, well-presented gastronomic dishes. I highly recommend La Marande, I'm sure you'll have a very nice time.

We had a wonderful evening, with piano music that suited the dinner perfectly and a nicely styled room. The La Marande Tasting Menu and the service were both perfect. I liked the wine list, even though we're not very familiar with the wide range of vineyards. It felt like a private dinner in this Michelin rated restaurant. Thanks!

The staff were first class, and the food made for an excellent experience. Portions were served perfectly and presented with care, as you'd expect at this Michelin starred restaurant. We visited on a wet day at the end of August 2020, so couldn't enjoy the outdoor space. The wine pairings offered for each part of the menu let the meal down. If a wine is suggested, you should be able to taste it first, but we weren't given that chance. Wine by the glass was also expensive compared with other Michelin restaurants in the area. There's room for improvement.

The location is stunning, and the atmosphere is great. We celebrated New Year's Eve here and, as always, the food was amazing. All seven courses were cooked, presented, and served beautifully, with professional, attentive, friendly staff. The pacing was just right too.
