The room was okay, a bit like an outdated travel lodge. The staff were welcoming, and although nobody spoke English, we managed. The restaurant and food were nice too. It’s a nice place overall, and I’d stay again.

The restaurant was really tasty, especially the organic bison steak. It was calm and clean, and the staff were friendly. Parking was free. The Wi-Fi was unstable, and check-in had to be done by 7 pm at the latest.

We especially recommend getting a room overlooking the abbey. The service had a cheerful, welcoming feel, and the chef surprised and delighted us with an original menu made with quality ingredients. It was a wonderful half-board stay in an authentic family-run hotel, recently brought back to life by a young couple.

The place reopened in September 2025, and it’s a lovely spot for a little stop. Early spring is a great time to enjoy delicious frog legs 🐸🐸🐸 and take a beautiful walk in the Haut-Doubs region 🪻🌷🪻🌷🪻🌷🪻. I highly recommend it.
