Hameau des Damayots

The setting is wonderfully quiet, with lovely views and grounds that are exceptionally well kept. Hameau de Damayots feels like a real find, with modern, elegant architecture that sits beautifully in the landscape. We fell for it as soon as we arrived. Our cottage was spacious, spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and very well equipped. The details made it feel comfortable throughout. It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy the quiet, and reconnect with nature. We’ll definitely come back.

Camille, who manages the estate, was attentive and very helpful. We booked the venue and cottages for our wedding and were really happy with the experience. The grounds are beautiful, and the cottages are clean, nicely decorated, and practical. Great value for money, and I’d recommend it.

We were there for a wedding, and the peaceful location made it a lovely place to spend some quiet time. The cottages are well soundproofed, and the bedding is high quality. A really charming spot.

The rooms and duplex suite are beautifully laid out, and the setting in the countryside is lovely and unusual. If you want dinner, plan to bring your own food or go into Moulins. Breakfast was the letdown. At €24 for two, I expected better than mass-produced brioche. The baguette and pastries were good, though we forgot to order butter both times. They should either improve breakfast a lot or stop offering it. Such a shame.
