Fresh continental breakfast is served, and you can sit in the leafy courtyard with the limited choice of hot and cold drinks. The staff are lovely, the rooms are very clean, and the beds are comfortable with good bathrooms. It's a historic hotel in a superb location, with secure courtyard parking.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the old town is lovely, though very quiet on Monday evenings. You can walk to bars and restaurants, and drinks at the hotel bar are reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are old-fashioned but comfortable and very clean. Courtyard parking is off the street and excellent, but spaces are limited, so it's best to arrive early if you can. There's no lift.

We stayed one night on Sep 6 2006 with my family and had a lovely time. The hotel and town were lovely, and I hope to return one day. There were a couple of cats, and one hung out with me for a while. I remember the quiet rooms and nice bed. We stayed out late having beers at the local bar/pub, which was nice.

The host was friendly and the rooms were clean. There's secure parking on site, though spaces are limited. The place is a bit dated, and breakfast could have been better. Still, it's a fine place to stay.
