The hotel is quite remote, and we found the surroundings ugly, with little nearby in the way of attractions or other places to eat. There were also unpleasant smells that kept lingering in some shared areas. The staff did their jobs, but from arrival they came across as distant and not very welcoming. We found the spa stressful too: it was packed, and of its three pools, most were out of order or only partly working, so relaxing there was difficult. Taking the service, spa, setting, and atmosphere together, we didn't feel the visit was worth it. Based on our experience, we wouldn't recommend the hotel or restaurant.

Their breakfast, for me, was what a perfect French breakfast should be. The place really sets a high standard across the board, and it makes a great spot for a short country getaway.

A real break from everyday life, peaceful and charming, and one I won't forget. The hotel sits amid beautiful countryside, and its architecture brings together a traditional French country look with modern comfort and elegance. The service felt warm, attentive, and professional. Everything seemed carefully considered, right down to the little details. Just a fantastic hotel.

The spa was a bit underwhelming. Having to wear a bathing suit in the sauna felt quite unhygienic. Still, it's a very nice, clean hotel, and the service is outstanding. The restaurant is fabulous, and Le K, the Michelin starred restaurant, is easily the main reason to stay overnight.

We've stayed here four times now, and we're already looking forward to coming back. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is excellent. We had a wonderful three days at this lovely hotel.
