The staff were polite and very helpful, and the space could have been wonderful. Disney is close, and the shopping mall is a short drive away. Breakfast was nice too. But maintenance really lets the place down. The hallway carpet looked dirty, and although the toilet looked clean, it smelled strongly of urine. The room smelled bad as well. The shutter didn’t work, and it was hot, though reception did give us a fan. The hob had no controls and could only be shut off at the mains. There was dust everywhere even though the room seemed cleaned, the sofa bed was torn, and there was hair on the bed and in the bathroom. The shower was blocked and flooded, so we had to put towels on the floor. At breakfast I paid a man before we sat down, but he never gave me my change.

We came as a family in July for three nights. Being close to Disneyland was the only good thing about the hotel. We were first put in a room with a bad smell, an open window and bugs. Reception said bugs were natural and nothing could be done. We were moved after asking, but the next room had bugs too, including in the bathroom. The bathroom mirror was cracked, the wooden floor made noise, and the stove wouldn’t turn off. Their express housekeeping seemed to mean someone came to look at the room without doing anything. There was no cleaning, the bed wasn’t made, and the garbage was left behind. This wasn’t explained in the booking details. After I complained, they told me to contact the manager, but the manager never replied to my emails or met me in person. None of the staff cooperated. The hotel doesn’t feel like a three-star place.

The staff are lovely and very friendly, and everyone speaks English, which helped because my French isn’t good. Dinner was nice, especially the pizza, which was unreal. The hotel itself is beautiful, but a few things let it down, and it feels expensive for what you actually get. There was no room cleaning service, so we had to ask for extra towels and soap. Breakfast can’t be brought to your room, and the air conditioning is so bad you’ll melt.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and it made for an absolutely positive stay, though some maintenance would be needed. The hotel runs a Disney park shuttle for a fee at regular intervals. The park isn’t far, but the road is too much to walk. I stayed one night. At check-in, the receptionist seemed quite capable but didn’t speak Italian. I’m fine with English, though I had some trouble understanding him, and he didn’t seem to care.
